Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A new gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national news eureka headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
